I have claimed the verse below as my life verse because simply trusting has not always been easy for me. Much of my youth was spent attending an American Baptist church in a small town in northern Iowa. I was saved when I was fifteen at an American Baptist church camp at Iowa Falls, IA. The following September I was baptized in the Cedar River near Waverly, IA. While my husband and I were in college, we attended Faith Baptist Church in Waverly. After getting married there, we moved to Des Moines and started attending what was Airport Baptist Church. Although I was always active in church activities, I had many doubts about my salvation. Finally, the Lord gave me peace as He taught me to recognize His soverignty. I was re-baptized at Airport Baptist church. Later, I dedicated my life to Jesus Christ.
