Curriculum

Grandview Park Baptist School is a preschool through twelfth grade college preparatory program that offers a traditional and progressive education based on Biblical principles. Bible is an academic and lifestyle subject in all grade levels.

The school curriculum has been carefully chosen to provide students with the highest quality of education. Phonics based reading, foundational math, and the development of critical thinking skills are the primary building blocks of the elementary curriculum.

The secondary curriculum is designed to provide a selection of college preparatory coursework for future collegiate studies. Advanced college placement classes are available in mathematics and English. Foreign language instruction begins in junior high and continues through high school Spanish IV. In addition to the traditional academic curriculum, GPBS offers training in both technology and fine arts. Instruction in the arts includes voice, instruments, art, and drama. Students begin technology instruction in the computer lab in fourth grade through high school. Electives are available for basic and advanced computer applications as well as programming that provide a foundation for our technology-centered world.

The GPBS graduate should be equipped to spiritually and academically enter young adulthood.
