2010 Season SummaryThis year the Grandview football team had the opportunity to play in a new district. “I expected us to do well. We finished second in the district and made it to the playoffs. We had a very young team, so we didn’t have a lot of experience, but we had a lot of talent,” said Coach Safford. The high school football team had a district record of 6-1; their overall record in the regular season was 6-3. The Defenders won their first round of playoffs against the Murray Mustangs, and then lost to the number one ranked Lenox Tigers in the second round of playoffs with a season ending record of 7-4. Players that received 1st team All District awards were seniors Colby, Tate, Jeff, Dan, Zach, along with juniors Dylan and Colin.
