IRS - Break Away

IRS, "Initiating Revival of The Soul," is a time the high school takes at the beginning of the year, every school year to get away and meet with God. This year, like the previous years, we went up to Iowa Regular Baptist Camp for a night. The two days included fun activities like zipping, climbing, swimming, boating, freshman/sophmore and junior/senior challenge games. Most importantly, Jamie Miller, a Minnesota youth pastor, preached the Word of God several times. He did a phenomenal job. We also had an optional time where we watched a sermon challenging us to breakaway from the four walls of our churches to make a lasting impact on our communities and on our world.

As a result several new outreaches have been undertaken: bake sale, athletic witnessing, nursing home, Compassion adoption and more.

	The 2006-2007 year of Breakaway (IRS) was an amazing time; God did a lot of great things in many peoples lives!	Countdown to last day of school.
