I grew up in a Christian home.  When I was 5 years old, my parents lead me to the Lord.  However, it wasn't until junior high that I really began to understand what it meant to live the Christian life.  That was when I started really growing and walking with Christ every day.  As I grew in the Lord throughout high school, God started giving me a heart for missions.  In response to His leading, I have been on several missions trips throughout the U.S. and overseas to Brazil, the Dominican Republic, and even during my student teaching in South Korea.  It hasn't been an easy journey; I have definitely had my struggles, but I have learned to trust God and lean on Him for all the strength I need.  Now He has lead me here to Grandview, to serve and glorify His name through teaching English.
