| At the age of eight I realized my need of a Savior. I went forward and prayed the sinner's prayer several times. I was faithful in Sunday School and church and enjoyed going, but I knew that was not enough to save me. I had a "good" testimony and yet I still had so many doubts about my salvation. When I was fifteen my family and I moved from upstate New York to southern California. It was there that God got ahold of my heart. I knew I needed to know for sure where I would go when I die. One night I got on my knees and prayed to God that he would forgive me of my sins and come into my heart. I told God that if I never meant it before I meant it now. I have never had a doubt since. I began to go with our teens for Soul Winning. It was incredible. I had a zeal to see souls saved and it has never diminished. I later went to Bible college and met my wonderful husband, who is associate and youth pastor at New Testament Baptist Church. Together we have four precious adult children who are loving and serving the Lord full-time. |
