See You At The Pole

About 65 students participated this year, which is up from previous years. (We even had a fifth grader join us!!) The 7:00 a.m. event was all student-led with our Head Chaplain (Tanner) coordinating the event. Students were led to pray by classes, gender, and also in pairs. Interlaced between prayer segments we sang songs to the Lord (led by Reggie Bush). The one-hour prayer event concluded as students lined both sides of East 33rd Street and prayed for the city of Des Moines. (A few people even stopped their car to take photographs of the students praying).

It was a great time... and very exciting to see students step out and step up. Please be in prayer (or continue in prayer) for these students. Many of them are making great strides in The Race... others are risking much and sacrificing much to follow the Lord. -Mr. Seyler
