I was born and raised in Owatonna, Minnesota. My parents were Christains and we went to church regularly. Even though I was surrounded by values that were established by the Bible, I was still a sinner! It was at the age of five that I decided to go to my mom and have her lead me to the Lord. A few years later, I was baptized. In Matthew 7:16, it says, "Ye shall know them by their fruits." Unfortunately, I did not bear the kind of fruit that God wants from His children. It wasn't until I was 23 years old and living far away from home that the reality of my disobedience hit me. I realized that as Christiams, we have a responsibility to God to be a testimony by the things we say and the things we do. God is still working in my life, but I now have a stronger desire to be what He wants me to be. |
